Children's Book Day
Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 1 to 3 pm
at Pepper Rock Park
Come celebrate Children's Book Day at Pepper Rock Park with all your neighbors. Bring the kids for a FREE fun play date with bounce castles, face painting, a storyteller, puppet stories, a bookmark craft and a book exchange. Get to know your neighbors while honoring great Children's Books. For each child that attends, please bring an age appropriate book that will be put into the book exchange and then choose a book and go home with a new story for the whole family to enjoy together. We will also be collecting books to give to the Pajama Program, so if you would like to bring a second book to donate, future readers will appreciate your generosity.
Let's Go Fly A Kite
Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 3 to 4:30 pm
at Pepper Rock Park
Join your neighbors at Pepper Rock Park for a special spring play date. Bring your favorite kite. There will be games, bouncies, snacks and activities for a Spring Celebration. This event is free to anyone and open to all ages.
