Morning of Monday, July 15th
Everyday July 15th to 19th
-
All Campers MUST be physically signed in and out by an adult over the age of 18 years old. Please do not drop your child at the front and have them walk in on their own.
-
If you arrive to drop off your camper before 9:00 am, please walk them in to the Community Center Game Room. Promptly at 9:00 am all campers in the Game Room will line-up, drop their bags in the Maple room, and will go out to the playground until around 9:30 am.
-
If you arrive between 9:00 and 9:30 am, please drive behind the Sam Bass Fire Dept. to the Community Park playground. The counselors will sign in your campers there.
-
If you arrive after 9:30 am, please bring your children in to the Community Center Maple room.
- Send your camper with a sack lunch and beverage. Please do not send anything that needs to be heated or refrigerated since we don’t have access to either during lunch.
-
Please do NOT send your child with money to get their beverage from the vending machine. This always prompts those kids who can’t get stuff out of the vending machine to be upset, so we prefer it just doesn’t happen.
-
Send your child in comfortable, weather appropriate clothes and closed toed shoes. Please do not send your child in flip flops. We do run, play, sit on the floor, and climb on playscapes and flip flops can cause injury. Also, keep in mind while we do spend time inside, we also spend time outside, so if it is a warm day, don’t send your child in pants.
-
Send your child with a refillable water bottle (so we can keep them hydrated), a hat & sunscreen (for outside time), and ALL ITEMS LABELED with their names.
-
Please do NOT send your child with electronic devices or valuable items such as a DS, iPod, Pokemon cards, money, etc. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Tuesday, July 16th – Swimming at Cat Hollow Pool
-
We will leave for the pools after 12:30 pm and will return to the Community Center by 4 pm.
-

-
If you prefer your child to use a flotation device in the pool (i.e. floaties or a life jacket) please send them with your child.
Wednesday, July 17th – GEORGETOWN PARK/ MEL'S LONESTAR LANES FIELD TRIP!
- Make sure your child is at the Community Center by 9:30 for line-up! We will return around 4 pm.

*Please note between the 10 am to 11:30 am daily and Monday 3 pm to 4:30 pm time frames the campers will be divided into their groups of 20 and will rotate through the following activities; Craft, Game, and a Sport.
*Family Time is a moment every morning for the campers to sit down with their counselor to discuss what will happen that day, to remind each other about proper behavior and to share fun stories with each other to start off the day with a positive attitude.
*Hobby Time occurs daily after lunch or after the return from a field trip. Hobby time is basically "free time" where the campers can hang out with their friends, play games/do activities, and get back on track for the rest of the day. We often jokingly refer to this time as "Supervised Chaos" since it appears to be a room full of campers doing unorganized activities, but it is actually an extremely important part of our day. Hobby Time helps campers move past that after lunch or post field trip overload and reset. Ask your child what they did at Hobby Time today!
