Simon Molyneux
Originally from London, England, Simon has been Brushy Creeks Aquatics Coordinator since January 2007, he has an extensive background in Aquatics with over 12 years experience managing Aquatic facilities. Simon also has 20+ years experience as a competitive Swimmer and Triathlete, where he competed at every level of competition from District level up to International level in both sports.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor, American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid Instructor, NSPF Certified Pool Operator License #78-228644
Other certifications: PADI Open and Advanced Open Water Diver, Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Sports Massage Therapist.

Head Lifeguards
Ben Rondeau
Ben is a Senior at Texas State University San Marcos (Go Bobcats). He has been a Lifeguard since the age of 15 and has enjoyed the Aquatic environment his whole life. A competitive swimmer since the age of 9, Ben has enjoyed being a swimmer and a coach for many years and aims to continue for the fore seeable future. 2007 was Ben's first summer with the District where he was hired as a Lifeguard, and then quickly moving into the position responsible running the Swim Lesson program for the remainder of the summer. This was year was Ben's opportunity to help supervise the Lifeguard staff after he was promoted to Head Lifeguard, some of his strengths are his attention to detail, his passion to make the Pool's a safer place and being a team player Ben is a great asset to the District.
Lifeguard Team
All Brushy Creek Lifeguards are trained to be responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons using the District pools by preventing, recognizing and responding to all aquatic emergencies. Other responsibilities include: Enforcing all aquatic facility policies, rules and regulations and participate in a weekly In-service training sessions designed to keep skills up to date with current lifesaving techniques and maintain a good level of fitness in preparation for the demands of the job as a Lifeguard.
Minimum entry level requirements include: American Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid certification, American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.
