Let's go Fishing!

Join us at Shirley McDonald Park for our 2018 Trout Fishing Derby! Rods and reels will be available to borrow, if you don't have your own. Bait and ice will be there too! Measurements of fish size and quantity caught during the event will be recorded and used for awarding prizes. Requirements for Cub Scouts for the fishing badge and pin will be worked on during the event. See you at the pond!

Please note:
A Texas fishing license is NOT required for ages 2 - 16.
A Texas fishing license IS REQUIRED for ages 17 and up.
The daily limit for trout is 5 fish any size.
