Dear Brushy Creek MUD Residents,

The time of year is fast approaching when inclement weather that includes freezing temperatures and possible precipitation will come to the Brushy Creek MUD area.

In preparation for the coming colder weather, BCMUD crews will flush out all irrigation systems and install freeze protection to District guard shacks and equipment rooms.

The evening before a freeze, bathrooms will be closed and exposed water sources such as pond fountains will be turned off and be made operational again once temperatures rise above freezing. Additionally, all District water fountains will be turned off, and irrigation systems will be closed for the season. They will be operational again in the spring.
