Advanced Metering Infrastructure Upgrade

Timeframe: Work for this project began in 2025. This page will be updated when a completion date is determined.

Description: Work for this project involves upgrading the District’s water metering system to enable real-time reading of water meters via remote data collection. Additionally, this project will create customer portals that will allow BCMUD water customers to see real-time updates to their water usage data.

Impact to Community: Residents are not currently expected to be impacted while project work is underway. Updates will be provided as the project progresses.
