Community Center Pavilion Improvement Project

The District's Board of Directors approved Staff's project concept plan and work plan for the Community Center Pavilion improvements. The Garden Pavilion is offered to all potential rentals and the typical feedback is that the weather is too unpredictable to schedule an outside event.  Staff believes the enclosure and other improvements to the Pavilion will allow the opportunity for more rentals in the Garden Pavilion.  Staff sought pricing proposals from qualified vendors to provide the specified improvements and installation of the improvements.  The entire project is now complete.

The following improvements were made:

• Limestone covering/wraps were installed around the existing 12 concrete columns.          
• The beams and joists were power washed, sanded and primed, and were painted. 
• Clear vinyl weather curtains with UV stabilized solid vinyl borders were installed.  These curtains roll up and down to protect against rain, wind, and cold temperatures.
