Community Park Sports Field Shade Trees & Seating

Community Park is the hub of the District's outdoor sports. Three youth sports leagues -- soccer, flag football, and tee ball -- are all played at Community Park. The afterschool program, Camp Foxtail, and various sports camps use the field throughout the year as well. Instead of installing bleachers which would take away from the "natural" feel of the park, limestone blocks were installed as were shade trees. Irrigation in the park was extended to provide water to the new trees.
