Water Rates 

UTILITY DEPOSITS, FEES AND CHARGES

  1)   Water Rates and Fees

  1. In-District Water Rates and Fees:
    1. Base Monthly Water Service Fee-  $20.00 per LUE
    2. Volumetric Rates-   
      1. Peak Season Volumetric Rates (June-Sept) - $4.70 per 1,000 gallons.
      2. Off Peak Season Volumetric Rates (Oct-May) - $3.50 per 1,000 gallons.
    3. Water services connections that are dedicated fire connections (utilized only for fire suppression and related testing purposes) and not used for other purposes will be exempt from payment of the Base Monthly Water Service Fee. Any use of water through such connections for non-fire protection purposes shall result in immediate payment of Base Monthly Service Fees for the prior unauthorized usage period and for all future use for as long as the connection remains in active service. Fire connections shall be subject to payment of volumetric rates.

2)   Wastewater Rates and Fees

a. In-District Wastewater Service Rates and Fees:

b. Base Monthly Wastewater Fee - $9.00 per LUE.

c. Volumetric Rate-  $3.20 per 1,000 gallons, prorated to the nearest 10 gallons.

d. Out-of-District Wastewater Service Rate:   

  1. Base Monthly Wastewater Fee - $12.00 per LUE.
  2. Volumetric Rate - $10.80 per 1,000 gallons, prorated to the nearest 10 gallons.

e. Except as otherwise set forth herein, volumetric wastewater service shall be computed on the basis of the average monthly amount of water used by the customer during the winter season based upon the average monthly readings of the customer’s water meter for the preceding November, December, January and February.

f. New single-family residential customers (including duplexes, townhomes, and detached condominiums served by a separate meter) who do not have an established winter average shall be billed on the basis of 7,000 gallons of water usage per month.  These customers may request a three-month average to be used until the winter average is established. No credits are issued for bills prior to the approved request (i.e., prior bills will not be adjusted retroactively).

g. New non-single family residential customers (as defined above) such as apartment houses, condominium complexes served by a master meter, or commercial customers without an established winter average shall be billed on the basis of actual monthly water usage until the winter average is established. 

h. Customers who experience a leak can submit a wastewater adjustment request form.  Proof of leak repairs is required.  No credits are issued for bills prior to the approved request (i.e., prior bills will not be adjusted retroactively).  No adjustments will be approved after April 30 of each year.

i. Customers that fill a swimming pool during the winter averaging period may submit a wastewater adjustment request form.  Consumption for filling a swimming pool must be over 10,000 gallons to be eligible for approval.  No credits are issued for bills prior to the approved request (i.e., prior bills will not be adjusted retroactively).  No adjustments will be approved after April 30 of each year.
