Community Center Age Guidelines

To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all Community Center members and guests, the District has established age-related guidelines for access to various amenities. Below are answers to common questions about age restrictions:

Can children purchase a Community Center Day Pass? 

  • Children in fourth grade or younger are not eligible to purchase a day pass.

What are the rules for the Child Play Room?

  • Supervised play is available for children:
    • Ages 6 months through 7 years old
    • Children must not have reached their 8th birthday

When can minors use the Weight Room?

  • Ages 15 and up: Allowed unaccompanied access
  • Ages 12-14: Must be accompanied and directly supervised by a parent or guardian, or with the completion of the Teen Weight Room Certification

What are the Game Room age requirements?

  • Ages 8 and up: May use the Game Room unescorted if parents are onsite
  • Children who have commenced 5th grade: Permitted full unescorted access to the facility

Are children allowed in the Community Garden?

  • Under age 16: Must be accompanied at all times by a parent, guardian, or adult
  • Age 16 and up: May access independently

What are the Racquetball Court age rules?

  • Ages 16 and up: May use courts unsupervised
  • Under age 16: Must be supervised by a parent or non-minor sibling
