TOPIC TOURS: FBI PROFILER: The Art of Negotiation

We'll watch some interesting videos with legendary FBI Special Agent John Douglas, one of the first criminal profilers (and the inspiration for shows such as Criminal Minds and Mindhunter), who will teach us how criminal profiling methods can help predict people's motives to benefit our everyday lives. We will revisit such serial killers as Ed Kemper and John Wayne Gacy, and explore concepts such as spotting a liar, understanding motives, and developing your own intuition.
