Celebrate Independence Day Brushy Creek-style! Join the parade or enjoy watching the colorful floats and walkers! Awards are given for the most patriotic parade participants. The festival includes food vendors and activities for all ages. Including train rides, face painting, hair paint, wiffle ball, inflatables, and everyone's favorite "spray down" from the Sam Bass Fire Department truck!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
9:00 AM - Parade Starts
9:30 AM - Live Music: Glen Collins & the Alibies
Parade Winner Announced!
9:30 AM -10:00 AM: Sam Bass Fire Department Spray Down
9:45 AM- Dessert Turn-In
10:00 AM - Dessert Contest
10:30 AM- Dessert Contest Winners Announced on Stage
11:30 AM - Festival Concludes
Parade Details
The parade line-up will begin at 8:30 AM at Liberty Walk and Northfield. The parade will start at 9:00 AM and end in Cat Hollow Park at 9:30 AM. Everyone is welcome to join us, and groups are encouraged!
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!
**Road Closure: Liberty Walk will be closed from O'Connor to Northfield starting at 8:00 am until all parade participants are off Liberty Walk**
