3/27/2020 - District Playgrounds CLOSED

Brushy Creek MUD Playgrounds CLOSED

In an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 and encourage social distancing, the Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District Board of Directors has made the decision to close all District Playgrounds until further notice.  This action is intended to strengthen our community’s response to the Stay Home Stay Safe Order issued by Williamson County on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.  An important goal of the Stay Home Stay Safe Order is to reduce the risk to the health and safety of people to the maximum extent possible.  As the COVID-19 virus can remain on playground amenities for extended periods, we believe closing the playgrounds is a necessary precaution.

Parks and trails will continue to remain open; bathrooms will only be open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

As per the Stay Home Stay Safe Order, public and private gatherings of any number of people outside a residence are prohibited except for the limited purposes identified in the Order.
