NEW TRAFFIC SIGNALS ON O'CONNOR DR.

Lane Closures October 15-16:  Williamson County’s contractor, Champion Infrastructure will set up temporary traffic control on Great Oaks Dr at O’Connor Dr between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Thursday 10/15/2020 and Friday 10/16/2020. This is to provide an additional safety buffer so that the exploratory utility work and removal of curb & gutter can be performed efficiently and safely. Minimal delays are expected.

  • Thursday, Oct 15 - The southbound right lane of O'Connor Dr will be closed from 9am - 12pm
  • Thursday, Oct 15 - The northbound right lane of O'Connor Dr will be closed from 12pm - 3pm
  • Friday, Oct 16 - The northbound left turn lane of O'Connor Dr will be closed from 9am - 3pm

Williamson County is adding new traffic signals and pedestrian signals on O’Connor Drive at three intersections to increase safety and efficiency. Installation of the traffic signals will take place at the following intersections: Liberty Walk; Great Oaks Drive; and Morgan Hill Trail. To best accommodate new traffic flow from these signals, Pocono Drive also will change from a four-way stop to a two-way stop.

Some road closures and sidewalk interruptions will occur at these locations as construction and installation move forward. Construction activities will be limited to Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. However, under special circumstances, the contractor, Champion Infrastructure, may request permission from the County to perform work outside of the normal work hours in order to complete time-sensitive activities.  Work is weather permitting, and minimal delays are expected.  We apologize for any inconvenience this causes our residents.
