PLEASE CONSERVE WATER

-- Update 2/18/21 7:24pm --

Dear Brushy Creek Community,

While we are still monitoring the water levels closely, we wanted to let you know that your efforts in conserving water usage by restricting it to cooking, drinking, and flushing toilets is working.  Our water levels are still critically low, but with your help, improvements are being made.

As the electrical grid stabilization managed by PEC continues to improve, we are able to increase our water production. Tomorrow we will provide you with an additional update regarding conservation measures and their effectiveness.

Thank you Brushy Creek!  Continue to boil your water as previously directed and keep conserving.  It’s working.

February 17, 2021

Brushy Creek MUD is asking customers to conserve water to the maximum extent possible as water supply levels are reaching critically low levels.

The winter storm has made it difficult for Pedernales Electric Company (PEC) to provide reliable electric service to the District’s Water Treatment Facility.

Please limit water usage to drinking, cooking, and flushing toilets at this time.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.

All District Offices Have Been Closed February 15-19
