5/23/2023 - Cat Hollow Delays and Swim Lesson Relocation Brief

Cat Hollow Renovation Delays and Relocation of Scheduled Swim Lessons 5.22.23

Due to renovation delays, Brushy Creek Municipal Utility District regretfully announces the temporary closure of Cat Hollow Pool. Cat Hollow Pool began renovation in February and will not open this summer season due to unexpected delays. The closure is necessary to facilitate essential upgrades and improvements to enhance the overall experience for our valued patrons. The renovation project at Cat Hollow Pool is part of the District’s commitment to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for the community. The planned upgrades include a state-of-the-art filtration system, a full replaster, a deck replacement, and aesthetic enhancements to elevate the overall ambiance of the facility. These improvements will ensure patrons can continue enjoying a high-quality swimming experience.

As a result of the closure, scheduled swim lessons at Cat Hollow will be relocated to either Highland Horizon or Creekside Pools. The relocation of swim lessons will ensure that all participants can continue their swimming education with minimal disruption. Although most sessions only require a relocation, some require a day and time change. Please check your email for updates regarding changes in your lesson registration. If you have additional questions, please email swimlessons@bcmud.org or call customer service at 512-255-7871, option 1.

The District recognizes the inconvenience this closure may cause and appreciates the patience and understanding of the community during this period. We remain committed to providing exceptional aquatic services and will work diligently to complete the construction project as quickly as possible.
During the Cat Hollow Pool closure, BCMUD encourages patrons to explore the District’s other aquatic facilities – Creekside Pool, Highland Horizon Pool, and Sendero Springs Pool, which offer similar amenities and activities.
